If you’re expecting a season two of WandaVision, check again. Did you actually watch the show? it ended pretty conclusively. Elizabeth Olsen confirmed the news on the Actor on Actor series with Kaley Cuoco. The two of them traded off talking about their passions and recent projects (The Flight Attendant and WandaVision). Cuoco asked Olsen about a second season of WandaVision.
No. No. It’s definitely a limited series.
While it’s not an official confirmation from Marvel, and things can always change, it’s that old phrase of “never say never”. Olsen went on to wax about how she loves doing television production.
The thing that I did learn through Sorry For Your Loss and WandaVision is that I love doing television. And I do miss, I think, the four-five week experience of making a film – it just feels so exciting and like camp for a little bit. But I think this six month experience of really hard work with the same people and it’s exhausting…it just feels really good.
With Marvel, people can come back from the dead (Loki anyone?), they can always show up through some magic, or even a prequel (Black Widow).
Olsen returns to the MCU with Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness next year. So you don’t have to wait very long to get more Scarlet Witch action in your life. According to reports, her turn in that film could change the way we see the MCU as we know it. We’ll just have to see when that film releases in theaters, March 25th, 2022.
