John Wick 4 is getting one of the best martial arts masters in the world. According to Deadline, Donnie Yen joins director Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves in the fourth film in the John Wick franchise. Yen will play an old friend of Wick’s, who shares his history and some of his enemies. Donnie Yen one of the most recognizable actors from the East. He’s most known for his roles in Star Wars: Rogue One and the Ip-Man series.
John Wick 4 has a script by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. The film starts production this summer in France, Germany, and Japan. Donnie Yen joins Rina Sawayama in the film. Stahelski had this to say about adding Yen:
We are very lucky to have Donnie Yen join the franchise. I am looking forward to working with him in this exciting new role.

Donnie Yen will bring a vibrant and powerful energy to the franchise. We were determined to bring him on board to John Wick 4 and are thrilled for the opportunity to have such a major talent to collaborate with Keanu.
