The cast for Secret Invasion gets even bigger. Shooter McGavin himself, Christopher McDonald is joining the upcoming Disney+ series. He’s the latest star to join the cast among other huge stars like: Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, and returning actors Samuel L. Jackson, and Ben Mendelsohn.
The show recently found it’s directors as well with Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim signing on. The news comes from Deadline. There’s no word on what role he’ll be playing in the series. Their sources say it’s a more wide-reaching role that could cross-over with other properties in the MCU. We’ll have to see when we get more details as the show enters production. Speaking of that, it’s set for Europe later this year.
For now, we just have the casting and directing choices to work with. Marvel has a very busy 2021 and 2022 planned out with multiple movies and TV shows coming out in the months ahead.
Secret Invasion is among the Marvel titles that are coming to Disney+ in the coming years. Alongside: Loki, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, and more.
Marvel has a big couple years coming up with their release schedule as well. In addition to the movies they showed off to celebrate their movies, there are plenty in the pipeline like Midnight Sons.
So, what do you think of these choices for the directors of Secret Invasion?
