It’s time to dive into a mysterious adventure that will have you looking for signs everywhere. Watch the first trailer for Peacock’s The Lost Symbol below.
The new series adapts Dan Brown’s international bestselling thriller The Lost Symbol. It follows the early adventures of young Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, who must solve a series of deadly puzzles to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a chilling global conspiracy. (Yes, that’s the same Robert Langdon of Brown’s DaVinci Code.)
Peacock’s trailer for The Lost Symbol teases plenty of adventure and thrills as the characters try to solve intellectual puzzles. Personally, I already have a favorite character. (It’s the “no one told me to put it back” guy, obviously.)
The series stars Ashley Zukerman, Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Rick Gonzalez, Eddie Izzard, and Beau Knapp. Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie serve as writers and executive producers.
“We’ve all wanted to make The Lost Symbol for some time now. I’m grateful to CBS Studios, Imagine Television Studios, Universal Television and Peacock for joining forces to make this project a reality,” said Brown. “Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie have written a phenomenally captivating script, and the casting and performances are pitch perfect.”
The series does not have a release date yet, but check back to THS for more updates.
