Major industry conventions still won’t be back in person with the given pandemic environment. Developers love to present with the fans and with the biggest news for what is next on the horizon, we have some news about EA’s next move. Electronic Arts will be bringing back their EA Play Live event this July. Fans can expect titles like Battlefield 6 or Dragon Age 4 at the event.
E3 2021 goes from June 12th-14th as a digital event only.
The biggest surprise last year was the reveal for the beloved skateboarding series, Skate 4 as it’s still in early development as EA will sure able to raise the bar for more surprises.
What Games Should We Expect?
EA will be holding their live event on July 22nd, 2021. Battlefield 6 is the big title that EA and DICE are developing to launch this holiday season that was confirmed by EA CEO, Andrew Wilson from their Q4 FY20 earnings call for PS5, Xbox Series X, PC.
UPDATE: EA released their Q4 FYI earnings call. On the call they mentioned the release window for Battlefield 6 to be between October and December 2021. It also confirmed in being worked for previous and current gen according to industry insider, Tom Henderson.
Over at the Battlefield Twitter account did tease for some sort of announcement in June and would be odd to reveal a game that large and should of been reserved for their livestream on July 22nd.
Rumored reveals for the event include: the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and perhaps something involving Apex Legends.
