Knives Out was a revelation upon it’s release. Rian Johnson’s murder mystery masterpiece showed the whole world how talented the director truly is. Now according to Deadline, Dave Bautista is joining the sequel. Netflix recently added the rights to the second and third film in the series. Johnson is writing and directing both sequels. Daniel Craig is also reprising his role of detective Benoit Blanc.
There aren’t any plot details available. You can probably guess that Blanc will try to solve another mystery around a cast of suspects like the first film. Bautista’s role is unknown at the moment.
Dave Bautista started off in the world of Pro Wrestling as Batista and then transitioned into acting. His role as Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy kicked off a career in action films like Army of the Dead, My Spy, and Blade Runner 2048.
Production on the second Knives Out film is set to start this summer in Greece.
