Ratchet and Clank have a new friend in their upcoming game: Rift Apart. It’s been teased that there’s a new Lombax in town, but now we have our first look at Rivet. Coming from another dimension, she’s a resistance fighter in a world ruled by Emperor Nefarious. The villain returns from Up Your Arsenal and other games in the series.
If you want more information on Rivet and how she fits into this story, you can check out the Official PlayStation blog from today. Also, PlayStation revealed the Digital Deluxe Edition. This comes with five armor suits that both Ratchet and Rivet can wear in-game. It also includes a photo mode sticker pack, the digital soundtrack, a digital art book, and 20 Raritanium, the in-game currency.
Being an alternate dimension version of worlds we’ve seen before, there are going to be some changes. Worlds like Sargasso and Torren IV are back. The newest world is Nefarious City, which is run by the evil former Doctor. The game is exclusive to the PS5, which makes it one of the most anticipated games for the new console. It hasn’t had a ton of true exclusive games, so this means you have something to stretch that hardware, finally.
