House of the Dragon is making moves at HBO. The network reported today that the series officially entered production.
The Game of Thrones Twitter account shared the message, along with a photo of the cast at a (socially distanced) table read.
House of the Dragon explores the story of House Targaryen 300 years before the events of GOT. The cast includes Paddy Considine, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Fabien Frankel, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Sonoya Mizuno.
The fantasy series will premiere a 10-episode first season in 2022.
