I recently had the opportunity to sit down and chat with horror icons Barbara Crampton, Bonnie Aarons and Larry Fessenden along with director Travis Stevens to talk about their newest film Jakob’s Wife.
In the film, Anne (Crampton) is married to a small-town minister. She feels like her life and marriage have been shrinking over the past 30 years. After a chance encounter with “The Master” (Aarons), she discovers a new sense of power and an appetite to live bigger and bolder than before. The body count grows as Anne is increasingly torn between her enticing new existence and her life before. Jakob (Fessenden) realizes he will have to fight for the wife he took for granted.
This is only Stevens’ second time at the helm of a feature, and his goal was to serve up a love letter to his three veteran horror actors. The flick is filled with fun, blood, and a little bit of heart!
Take a look at my interview above with these three. Check out Jakob’s Wife streaming, On Demand and in theaters NOW!
So, what do you think of Jakob’s Wife? It looks like a great blend of new and classic horror.
