Avengers, assemble! Disneyland reopens later this month, and the Avengers Campus at California Adventure won’t be far behind. The new Marvel section of the park opens June 4.
The immersive zone invites you to team up with the Avengers and their allies to live out your superhero dreams. The campus is divided into several different areas, each hosted by a different Avenger. Get a sneak peek at what you can experience on opening day below!
Avengers Campus: Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB)
The first key area inside the Avengers Campus? The Worldwide Engineering Brigade, aka WEB. As you may guess from the name, this is where you’ll find Spider-Man!
WEB brings together innovators assembled by Tony Stark himself (like Peter Parker) to assemble new technologies and equip everyday people to be superheroes like the Avengers.
Here you’ll find the new attraction Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!
Food fit for heroes
When you’re done web-slinging, try out some new bites at Pym Test Kitchen. The Ant-Man food science lab uses Pym Technologies to create shareable bites, inventive entrees, and sweet treats. Try the Impossible™ plant-based large and micro meatballs with pasta, or the “Pym-ini,” a panini served by the slice or as a long, multi-portion sandwich. Want a drink? Just look for the oversized beer can to find the Pym Tasting Lab.
You can also visit an Avengers favorite, Shawarma Palace, and get intergalactic eats from the Terran Treats food cart.
Avengers encounters
Just like you can run into your favorite Disney characters in the park, you’ll be able to run into the heroes themselves in the Avengers Campus. Look out for Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor and even villains like Loki, some of whom are making their first appearances at the park.
Plus, keep an eye out for Spider-Man swinging into action, high above the ground. Expect gravity-defying acrobatics never before seen at Disney parks.
You can even add some mystical ambiance to your visit, as Doctor Strange will train recruits in the mystic arts at a nearby ancient sanctum. (Visit after dark to get the full impact of the glowing energy!)
