Godzilla VS Kong was not the only MonsterVerse entertainment to release this past week. Legendary Comics has released their latest MonsterVerse book, KONG and Me. KONG and Me is a hard-cover children’s picture book written by New York Times’ bestselling author Kiki Thorpe with illustrations by Nidhi Chanani.

KONG and Me Review

OK, so this review will be a little different than most of the ones I do. Most of the time I’m going through finding things I like and dislike. Well, the reason this is different there is absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. Who would have thought that you would find the Titan Kong in the middle of a cute little children’s book?

Taking place on Skull Island Kong and his new little friend goes on many adventures exploring throughout the Island. The pages are full of color and fun illustrations that will keep any child or Kong fan entertained. There are even a few Skull Island Easter eggs in the illustrations (sorry no Samuel L Jackson). What really makes this book special is the message that it gives, and that is no matter how different we are, no one is too big or small to become true friends. KONG and Me is a book that should be in every kid’s and even some adults’ home library. KONG and Me retails for 19.99 and is available at Amazon, BAM, and other book retailers. On a scale of 1 to 5 Hashtags, I give KONG and Me a 5!
