Russell Crowe now joins the list of crazy cameos of famous actors to appear in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Deadline managed to confirm news of Russell Crowe’s impending appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. You might be asking: why now? Well, apparently, there were a series of leaked photos on Twitter that showed Mr. Crowe hanging out with the cast of Thor (including Natalie Portman and Chris Pratt) all over Australia. Naturally, people put 2 and 2 together and came up with some suspicions. And as it turned out, they were right.

Unfortunately, we have no other information as to what exactly Russell Crowe will be playing in Thor: Love and Thunder. His role is being kept completely under wraps here. In fact, the director: Taika Waititi, had hoped to surprise fans with Crowe’s appearance when the movie comes out. Sadly, this particular leak dashes that hope against some very hard rocks.
Unfortunately, Deadline and social media haven’t just ruined Russell Crowe’s surprise cameo. Deadline also confirms that Matt Damon will also make a cameo appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder. Even better, he’ll be doing the exact same role he did in Thor: Ragnarok. You know, when he was playing Loki, but not in the way you’d expect.

It’s a bit unfortunate that Russell Crowe’s and Matt Damon’s cameos will no longer be a surprise in Thor: Love and Thunder. However, we can still act surprised when this Marvel Cinematic Universe movie comes out on May 6, 2022. At the very least, it might bring a smile to Taika Waititi’s face.
