The Mighty Ducks are back and ready to hit the ice!
We sat down with three of the stars to discuss the upcoming Disney+ series. And while Sway Bhatia, Brady Noon, and Maxwell Simkins are too young to have been around when the original films were released, they’re still big Mighty Ducks fans.
“I remember the audition came out and at the exact same time, the actual Mighty Ducks came out on Disney+,” said Simkins. “So I watched them all with my family. My little brother and me loved them so much.”
“I went through a phase where all I wanted to do was watch The Mighty Ducks,” agreed Noon.
“Being a figure skater, a lot of people recommended the movies to me,” said Bhatia. “I got hooked on the franchise.”

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers brings a new generation to the ice. Set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team.
After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez), they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.
The series premieres on Disney+ Friday, March 26.
