Snyder fans rejoice. The long-awaited director’s cut of Justice League is almost here.
But that’s not all the good news. You’re going to be able to watch the premiere of Zack Snyder’s Justice League with the director himself.
HBO Max is partnering with viewing platform Scener to host an exclusive live watch party for the Snyder Cut. Snyder himself will give a video introduction and be part of conversation through the four-hour runtime.
And the best news? You don’t need to buy special tickets or beat out anyone for a seat. You just need your HBO Max subscription and the free Scener extension on the Chrome browser.
Scener synchronizes viewing so everyone can experience the feature together. There’s also a text chat, so you can react to Justice League live with other fans.
“I’m excited to finally share my vision for Justice League in a virtual screening with our incredible fanbase who, through the power of community and an inspiring grassroots campaign, played a major role in making this premiere possible,” Snyder said.
Scener founder and COO Joe Braidwood told Deadline he expects “tens of thousands” of people to tune in during the event. (He also said they’d likely include an intermission. Since, you know… four hours is a long time.)
The Scener event description also references “special guests” in addition to Snyder, so we may even get some of our heroes joining the stream.
The official watch party kicks off at 7pm ET/4pm PT on March 18.
