Just like 2020, the In-Person event of Comic-Con has been cancelled due to circumstances around the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s not all bad news however, because we’re getting Comic-Con At-Home in 2021. Last year’s version of Comic-Con might not have been the gigantic event that we’re all used to. What it made up though, was getting all your favorite entertainment and media personalities on camera for video conferences about their properties.
Comic-Con at Home 2021 will only be three days, from July 23rd to July 25th. Cutting out days might be bad news for some, but it means that we’re just going to have those three days filled to the brim with content.
There are plans, however to do an in-person event in 2021. San Diego could still be host for a Comic-Con style event in November for three days. We’ll have to keep our eyes on that event, but for now, we have At Home 2021 to look forward to.
The plan going forward for 2022 is to hold the event at it’s normal time and place. So there’s that also to look forward to.
