Cable’s #1 show Yellowstone is getting a new prequel series. The show, Y:1883 is coming to the Paramount+ streaming network in 2021. Here’s the official synopsis for the series.
Y: 1883 follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. It is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land – Montana.
The new show follows with a multi-year content deal with series creator Taylor Sheridan and 101 Studios. It’s the first new project under the deal with MTV Entertainment and ViacomCBS.
