The SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Award has been a big part of the film and television industry since 1995. Now, they’re proud to announce the nominees for the 27th version of this award.

SAG Award statuette.
Ah, I see the Ancient Greek influence is strong with this one.

Seriously though, getting a SAG Award is a big deal for any film or television show. When you get one, you’re practically a shoo-in for an Oscar. I don’t need to tell you how prestigious that award is. The 27th SAG Award ceremony will be simulcast on TNT and TBS on April 4, 2021; at 6:00 P.M. PST, so you might want to watch out for that.

Fans of Star Wars might notice something very familiar in the last category. Yes, that’s right. The Mandalorian is being nominated for “Outstanding Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series”. If the series wins this one, it’ll be another award on top of the assorted awards, Emmys, and the Golden Globe. Even better, getting a SAG Award could be the show’s path to getting an Oscar. In the words of Din Djarin:

"This is the way."
I have spoken.

So without further ado, here’s the full list of nominees for the 27th SAG Awards.
