Tell Me Your Secrets revolves around a trio of characters, each with a mysterious and troubling past. There’s Emma (Lily Rabe), a young woman who once looked into the eyes of a dangerous killer; John (Hamish Linklater), a former serial predator desperate to find redemption; and Mary (Amy Brenneman), a grieving mother obsessed with finding her missing daughter. As each of them is pushed to the edge, the truth about their pasts and motives grows ever murkier, blurring the lines between victim and perpetrator. Throw in a therapist (Enrique Murciano) with seemingly good intentions, and everything only gets more complicated.
The series was created and written by Harriet Warner (Dangerous Liaisons). Big Little Lies alum Bruna Papandrea executive produces along with Casey Haver. John Polson (Elementary) directed the series and also serves as executive producer.
