While it won’t be until Friday when Hasbro announces their next wave of Star Wars merchandise, that isn’t stopping the rumors from flying around the collectors’ universe. Rumor reports from Yakface and Jedi Insider are getting fans excited about Hasbro’s Fan First Friday that will be announcing their Star Wars Lucasfilm 50th anniversary lineup. From Star Wars The Phantom Menace to Comic Book themed The Black Series figures, if these rumors are true we have a lot to look forward to.
The Black Series The Phantom Menace Carded Figures
It seems that we may be getting some more Star Wars: The Phantom Menace carded The Black Series figures like the Star Wars Celebration Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Yakface is reporting that there will be three new figures added to this lineup:
- Qui-Gon Jinn
- Mace Windu
- Jar Jar Binks
These figures are expected to release in March or April of this year. Also, they are not sure who will be offering these figures as of now.
Amazon Exclusive Black Series Kenner Deco Figures
If that wasn’t enough for you it also seems that we are going to get some more Kenner Deco figures, like the SDCC Boba Fett, Zuckuss, and 4-Lom Black Series figures. According to a report from Yakface Ben Kenobi, Greedo and Jawa will be added to this vintage color lineup as part of the Lucasfilm 50th anniversary releases.
The Black Series Comics-Based Fan Channel Exclusives
Banking of the success of the Gaming Greats The Black Series, it seems now Hasbro is going to do something similar, but now with comics. The Jedi Insider is reporting that Hasbro will reveal a comics-based The Black Series lineup that will include:
- Carnor Jax
- Jaxxon
- Darth Maul
- Luke Skywalker
