Marla Grayson (Rosamund Pike) has been running the same scam for years. 

As a professional, court-appointed guardian for dozens of elderly wards, she’s in a unique position. One she uses to dump her wards in nursing homes and sell off their property for her personal gain, getting away with it all by jumping through the necessary legal loopholes.

It’s an efficient (if morally bankrupt) racket Marla and her business partner/lover Fran (Eiza González) have been using for years.

Until one day they pick the wrong mark.

Unfortunately for Marla, she seems to have met her match with her latest victim Jennifer (Dianne Wiest). Because this one’s not just another helpless old lady. Nope. Jennifer’s got her own shady past – and connections to a dangerous gangster (Peter Dinklage). With this new unexpected – and powerful – adversary, Marla’s going to have to up her game.

I Care A Lot: Peter Dinklage as Rukov

We don’t know much more about this one, but based on the trailer it looks like another excellent character for Pike. She manages to do cold and villainous, yet still somehow likeable a lot. It seems like Marla will be no exception. From the trailer it looks like the film will feature a lot of dark humor too. It definitely seems like one to watch.
