Pros Of The Diamond Select Toys: The Child With Soup Statue

For fans of Grogu, also known as The Child, there are a lot of great things going on with this statue.

  • Packaging of The Child Statue is great. He is tucked away good and snug for those long trips in the mail or even the ride home.
  • The sculpt looks amazing on this statue. I think it even looks better then some of the bigger and higher priced The Child statues.
  • The paint job on this statue give it that real life feel. It highlights every little detail on this statue.
  • The weight and base on this statue makes it very secure and not easy to knock over.

Cons Of The Diamond Select Toys: The Child With Soup Statue

Honestly I really had to dig deep to find any cons with this statue.

  • The picture on the box is a little different then what you get. If you look at the box in near the top of this article you will notice what looks to be some tall grass on the base. As you can tell in the pictures, the grass is not there.
  • If you are a fan of different poses, you may be a little disappointed. This The Child is one solid piece with no articulation or removeable accessories.

My Final Thoughts

Like I said in my pros and cons it was hard to find anything I didn’t like about The Child Statue. If you are a fan of The Mandalorian or even just The Child, then this statue by Diamond Select Toys is a must have in your collection. The overall look and details are amazing. Coming in at just about 8-inches it will be hard to find anything around this size with this quality.
