Disney’s Investor Day announcements are only a few hours away. While we can probably count on details from the Kenobi, Cassian Andor, and The Bad Batch projects, the big question is what else is heading our way and when? Could we finally get a Star Wars: Rebels sequel? Or will we find out what Rian Johnson is working on? Either way it seems like Star Wars universe is getting ready to get a little bigger. Here is a list of what I think could possibly get announced today.
Star Wars on Disney+
With Star Wars: The Mandalorian killing it on Disney+, Lucasfilm and Disney would be crazy not to keep pushing out as many shows as they can on the streaming platform. So, with that in mind here are the shows that we could learn more about or if they are happening with todays announcements.
Disney+ Star Wars Series Already In The Works
- The Mandalorian Season 3
- Obi-Wan Kenobi Series
- Cassian Ando Series
- The Bad Batch
- Series by Leslye Headland
These series have already been announced by Disney, but in great Star Wars fashion very little is known about them, What we do know is that the Kenobi series will being shooting in January of 2021 and that the Cassian Andor series as already started filming. So hopefully we will get more details on all of these, especially the new series from Leslye Headland.
Disney+ Rumored Star Wars Series
- Ahsoka Tano
- Boba Fett
- The High Republic
We can all hope for some of these announcements from Disney. The rumors of a Ahsoka Tano series have been going on since the minute it was found out that Rosario Dawson was the new Ahsoka. And after seeing her in The Mandalorian, we all definitely want more! Also there are rumors of a new Boba Fett series. I mean why not right, Fans went crazy last week when the officially saw Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett in The Mandalorian. With Fett being so popular and rumors of the series already being casted and possibly even in production don’t be surprised if we hear Disney announcement today. Also we have been seeing rumors that a new The High Republic Series could be heading our way as well. So, if these are all true we have a lot to look forward to on Disney+.
Star Wars Movies
Right now the Star Wars move lineup is a complete mystery. All we do know is that an untiled movie is slated for 2023, then after that, 2025 and 2027. Again we know nothing about these movies but here is who we know that is supposedly work on them.
- Rian Johnson
- Kevin Feige
- Taika Waititi
While many Star Wars fans are excited about Kevin Feige and Taika Waititi working on projects (possibly together) for Star Wars, it is the talk Rian Johnson that keeps getting some very interesting reactions. With him being blamed that he ruined Star Wars, a lot of people want him nowhere near these projects. Others can’t wait to see what he can do with his own story. Either way lets hope we get some answers today.

Only thing I want from Johnson is an apology for that travesty TLJ. Disney would be better served announcing a Restraining order against Ruin Johnson so he can never be near Star Wars ever again!
We suspect you’re not the only one! We can’t wait to find out what they’ll announce. Stayed tuned here later today for updates!
LOL you pathetic child
Please Disney don’t have Rian Johnson work on any more Star Wars movies. He destroyed such a great reboot with episode 7. TLJ was horrible and didn’t make any sense at all and then poor JJ had to try and fix it with with episode 9. But there was too much damage and 9 was pretty bad too
