Holy Crap this is like the BEST timeline haha. Everything I’ve read online is so convoluted. This lays it out nice and simple. Please keep this updated, I’ll be coming back to this timeline regularly! Bookmarking this page now!
This is incredible…starting to read some star wars comics and novels. Just curious though, are the comics necessary to understanding movies and tv shows? Because I want to watch the mandalorian but it took place after return of the jedi but before force awakens. Does it connect to these comics or novels in anyway?
the Mandalorian is meant to stand as a entry point for new fans but also allow old fans the gratification of having followed along all this time, in short, no, you don’t need to read the novels or have seen the movies but it does help. You’ll just be in the same position as Din Jarin, clueless :-p
So if I don’t have time to read the star wars novels and the comics, which one is more interesting or useful to understanding the star wars world?
the immortal VR glasses game Vader is canonical of the star wars timeline. It goes between Episode III and Episode IV but it’s not here on the list, apparently.
