No, it’s not a Christmas themed episode of The Walking Dead. But what it is, actually, is a round-table discussion from the various people who make the show great. It debuts exclusively on the AMC+ platform on Sunday, December 13th. The show is an entire hour devoted to the current and past cast members of the show. People like: Lauren Cohan, Melissa McBride, Josh McDermitt, Khary Payton, Eleanor Matsuura, Cooper Andrews, Cassady McClincy, Laruen Ridloff, Cailey Fleming, Emily Kinney, and Chief Content Officer Scott Gimple.
It’s all hosted by Chris Hardwick, who you know from Talking Dead. The special also includes a lighter tone and musical numbers from the cast. Including “Up On The Housetop” by Emily Kinney, a parody of “Twelve Days of Christmas” sung by Payton, Andrews, Matsuura, and McClincy. Festive activities and feelings abound for the cast and crew.
Finally, there’ll be a table read video from “Diverged” one of the six new episodes in the extended 10th season. That’s right, we’re getting a sneak peak at the last episodes of the 10th season. That new season debuts February 28th on AMC. They’ll be followed by an episode of Talking Dead, as usual.
It’s been an entire decade of The Walking Dead, celebrate with the cast and crew come December 13th.
So, what do you think of this Holiday special?
