Seeing Ahsoka Tano in chapter 13 of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, The Jedi, was exhilarating. She delivered excellent lightsaber action. She hinted at Anakin Skywalker’s fall to the dark side and shared Jedi wisdom. And Rosario Dawson portrayed the character wonderfully, bringing her to life in live-action.

But when it comes to seeing her next, here’s the thing: Ahsoka didn’t agree to train Grogu (not keeping up her end of a deal with Din Djarin). In fact, she put Grogu off to be found by another Jedi. That signals that the journey with the characters who crossed Ahsoka’s path will continue with a different Force user. In fact, as the story currently stands, there doesn’t seem to be a need for the character. Or at least, it doesn’t make sense where she will come back into the story.

Needless to say, when we will see her next is up in the air.

The Biggest Indicator of Ahsoka’s Return

Ahsoka name-dropped Grand Admiral Thrawn. It seems that we will see a small-screen story of her hunting Thrawn.

But because that storyline would distract from Din’s story, it seems likely that it will be in a spin-off.

So when will she be back on The Mandalorian?

There’s no guarantee when that will occur. Or if it will at all.

We got reports that she would appear in The Mandalorian. Nothing more. Nor how often she would appear or the storylines in which she would be involved.

And Bo-Katan Kryze said in chapter 11: The Heiress that Din would find Ahsoka on the forest planet of Corvus. Nothing more about her involvement in Din’s journey.

My prediction? Ahsoka will be seen again in The Mandalorian, but it not be in season 2. Season 3 could mark the next time we see her. And even if we do, that could be the last time.

What is more certain than Ahsoka returning in The Mandalorian is that Ahsoka will be seen in a spin-off (and maybe her own spin-off).
