2020 has been a year no one could have predicted, and it seems like Supernatural gets in the latest curveball.

In last night’s episode, a major ship sailed into canon. Castiel confessed his love for Dean, validating a lot of people who’ve spent a decade-plus rooting for Destiel.

Unfortunately, Dean didn’t seem to reciprocate the feeling. (Or at the very least, he didn’t say it back.) And then uh…Cas died and went to super hell.
