At the BlumFest 2020 event, Blumhouse dropped a new teaser trailer for Halloween Kills. The upcoming film in the new revival of Halloween is due out October 15th, 2021. It was supposed to release this year, but of course, the pandemic had other ideas. So for now, we just have to enjoy this teaser trailer and the previous one they released when the film was delayed.
We’re left with a chilling voiceover from Jamie Lee Curtis’s Laurie Strode. A brutal shot of Michael killing someone, terrified people, and of course, the classic Halloween theme. It was a small trailer but one that did the job of hyping me even more for this film. The second in a trilogy, with the first being Halloween (2018), then Halloween Kills, and finally Halloween Ends in 2022. The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, and is directed by David Gordon Green.
Hopefully the sequel lives up to the lofty expectations set by the first film. We’ll have to see when it comes out next October. For now, make sure to watch out for Michael this Halloween.
