Get ready for the multiverse. The Flash movie hopes to feature multiple recognizable Batmen.

Fans keeping track of the progress for The Flash know the movie will bring in the “Flashpoint” arc from the comics. While director Andrés Muschietti said the film’s Flashpoint story won’t directly follow the comics plot, it will still involve Barry Allen jumping across different timelines.

Thanks to DC FanDome, we know at least one former Batman will definitely make an appearance. Find out more about Michael Keaton’s Flash appearance here.

The Flash and Michael Keaton's Batman

Now Fandomwire reports Keaton’s Batman is only the beginning for The Flash. The film wants to load up on Batman cameos from different actors. The production is reportedly pursuing Val Kilmer, George Clooney, and Christian Bale. Since the story involves Barry hopping across different timelines, it makes sense that all of these former Batman actors could reappear in the film.

Oh, and if you’re a Robin fan, you should know Chris O’Donnell is also being approached to reprise his role as well.

And like any good multiverse story, The Flash may also meet himself in another timeline. Ezra Miller met TV’s Flash Grant Gustin in the CW’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” DC TV crossover event. So, it’s possible Gustin will pop up in The Flash movie as well.

Another Hero Cameo For The Flash?

But The Flash may feature another major superhero cameo. The film is reportedly looking to bring on Nicolas Cage as Superman.

Nicholas Cage as Superman

Cage, a longtime Superman fan, had once been cast in the role for Tim Burton’s Superman Lives. That film was ultimately never made. But now The Flash may allow Cage to step into the role. Plus, Cage’s Superman would reportedly appear in the same world as Keaton’s Batman. (The Keaton timeline serves as the “main” one Barry visits, getting the most screen time.)

So, which Batman do you want to see in The Flash? Would you be excited to finally see Cage as Superman? Let us know in the comments.
