Taya Valkyrie is one of the most influential and popular professional wrestlers on the planet right now. She’s part of the IMPACT wrestling roster right now. She took some time out of her schedule to sit down with Jim Velasco and Neesin Williams from THS Wrestling. Starting off with her time in Lucha Underground, she got her beginning with that promotion in America. Her first match was against Brian Cage because of an injury to Johnny Mundo (John Morrison).

She went into inter-gender wrestling and made a fantastic point about it. Both people are trained professionals and if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. Valkyrie is also one of the most accomplished members of the IMPACT Wrestling roster. She’s also the longest reigning Knockouts Champion of all-time. Her place in history is that of a pioneer in a Women’s division at IMPACT that doesn’t get it’s proper due for kick-starting the women’s revolution in pro wrestling.

The latest round of questions was about Wrestle House. It was a reality TV show spoofing shows like Big Brother. Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie spun off pro wrestling in a different way like the Boneyard Match from Wrestlemania 36. It was an interesting experiment that let characters on IMPACT Wrestling grow and shape their characters. Here’s to hoping that they can keep the concept going after it’s recently concluded.
