The new trailer for Raised By Wolves gives us more details about the show’s human/android conflict.

Raised By Wolves follows two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious planet. The sci-fi series comes from Ridley Scott and HBO Max.

The first trailer gave us a look at the mysterious planet and the androids protecting it. However, this second trailer elaborates on the central conflict: the religious differences between the androids and the last remaining humans.

Watch the trailer below:

Apparently, Raised By Wolves takes place years after Earth (presumably) was destroyed by some kind of planet-wide religious war. Because of this, the androids are strict atheists. They’re also raising the children to be anti-religion.

So when the last remaining human faction shows up, things get heated pretty quickly. See, these humans believe androids raising children is a sin. And they’re going to go all-out trying to get these kids back.

The cast includes Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah, Ivy Wong, and Travis Fimmel.
