DC’s Fandome keeps rolling with more info on upcoming DC films. This time the panel is that of Shazam. Levi was joined by co-stars, Asher Angel, Meagan Good, Faithe Herman, and Jack Gazer.
During the panel, the group was joined by comedian Sinbad who confirmed he will be in Shazam 2. Hinted in the panel were new villians and a surprise cameo. The entire panel was pretty comical. It was making fun of the other panels that went on throughout the day. Following the news that Sinbad was going to be in the film, we learned the title. Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
Shazam :Fury of the Gods is set to star Zachery Levi who will reprise his role as adult Shazam along with Asher Angel as the young Billy Batson. The latest rumor is that Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam will also make an appearance in the film.
Right now the movie has a tentative release date of November 4, 2022. This date is, of course, subject to change.
