Legends of Tomorrow fans haven’t seen the last of Astra Logue.
Though the time-travel superhero drama left Astra’s fate ambiguous, Entertainment Weekly confirmed actor Olivia Swann will return for season six.
Swann initially joined the cast of Legends of Tomorrow in season four. During her initial introduction, Astra was framed as a villain. (She did, after all, release several historical bad guys out into the world.)
The most recent season saw Swann upped to series regular. But Astra didn’t stay the Legends’ enemy for long. Instead, she teamed up with them in hopes of finding the Loom of Fate to save her mother. Ultimately, she helped the Legends defeat the Fates. At the end of the season, Astra returned Constantine’s (Matt Ryan) soul coin and moved into his mansion.
It seemed like this could be the end to Astra’s storyline. But now we know Swann has been confirmed as a series regular for season six, we can expect a lot more from Astra moving forwards.
About Legends season 6
Legends of Tomorrow has seen quite a few casting changes ahead of season six. While Swann stays on as a series regular, several other cast members departed after season five. Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Charlie), Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer/The Atom), and Courtney Ford (Nora) all left the show. However, Shayan Sobhian was promoted to series regular for season six. Sobhian plays Behrad, brother of Zari (Tala Ashe).
Legends of Tomorrow season six will find the gang going up against the aliens who abducted Sara Lance (Caity Lotz). The show should return to the CW sometime in 2021.
