If you haven’t heard of DC’s FanDome, then you’re in for a real treat. Instead of the normal Summer Convention, we’re getting a 100% virtual experience from the entertainment giant. All your favorite actors from their films, all your favorite artists from their comics, and even some other surprises sprinkled in. Think of it like a Comic-Con, but just for DC. If that excites you, it gets even better.
There’s no waiting in lines outside Hall H. There aren’t any hot days waiting for that merch booth to open up. You can do it all in your pajamas from your desk. Some of the heavy hitters that are going to be doing panel appearances are: Zack Snyder and his cut of Justice League, James Gunn and the cast of Suicide Squad, Margot Robbie, John Cena, Idris Elba, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Dwayne Johnson to promote Black Adam, and Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves to promote The Batman. In addition to the film division of DC, there will be plenty of representation from the television branch of DC.
There’s sure to be plenty of surprises from the event also. With new movies, or even existing cuts of classic films like Batman: Forever hopefully being announced.
DC FanDome begins August 22nd at 10:00am Pacific. It’s available around the world in 13 different languages. You can check it out at https://www.dccomics.com/dcfandome.
