Starting off the panel right, Sam Roberts, Bill Miekina, and Steve Ozer went over the history of Mattel and WWE. Starting in 2010 with Elite and Basic figures, they’re now on line 100. The latest announced line for Walmart customers is Decade of Domination. It’s a celebration of the decade that Mattel and WWE have had together.

Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae joined to shame the other guys about going on with the reveals before they saw them. The first big reveal was the Fan Takeover figures. Fans will get to choose the gear that each wrestler wears on the figure. The winners were Wrestlemania 35 Seth Rollins, the silver and black Shayna Baszler, Ricky Steamboat from Wrestlemania 3, and Adam Cole in the black/yellow Undisputed Era gear.

Johnny Gargano and Candice brought news of wave two of this line. Randy Orton, Christian, X-Pac, and Johnny Gargano in the Wolverine gear. The NXT Takeover gear was a fan favorite at the time, and now it’s immortalized in a toy.

More Figures Coming From Mattel

Candice LeRae is finally getting a Mattel figure. It’s in the design stage still but from the looks of it, it’s a spitting image of LeRae.

Rhea Ripley was the next person to join in on the panel. She started off with some smack talk. Ripley was the latest to get a debut figure.

The details for this figure are astounding. Down to all the studs, chains, bits, and bobs of Ripley’s costume.

Basic and Elite Figures Come To Play

This new 30 years of Undertaker Elite figure is coming exclusively to Walmart. It’ll have brand new packaging that reflects the 30 year journey of one of the greatest wrestling characters of all-time.

King Corbin and Alexa Bliss form up the next in the Elite line. The Bliss figure is the first to come with the new Women’s Tag Team Championship.

If you’re a fan of Bayley’s heel run, it wouldn’t have been possible without her destroying the Tube-Man from her old entrance. This new figure reflects that change perfectly.

The first ever Mae Young figure from Mattel with the Mae Young trophy. And of course, Jerry the King Lawler. Lots of crowns so far in this line.

Stunning Steve Austin and Davey Boy Smith with first-time in the line, Matilda, and the WCW Tag Team Championship round the next part of the line out.

Ricochet was the latest superstar to jump in on the stream. He showed off the new Elite figure for himself.

The next figure described was The Fiend. His first figure was a massive success, the Firefly Funhouse version is coming from RingsideCollectibles. It includes all his puppets.

The Ultimate Version of The Fiend might be the most awesome one shown. Just take a look at how amazing that one looks.

Another RingsideCollectibles exclusive, this Charlotte figure is one of the best they’ve ever made.

The Rock is exclusive to Amazon, and comes with tons of accessories.

The NWO Hulk figure is one of my favorites from the presentation.

The Macho Man is the first with the green hat from the Ultimate line!

Edge Joins the Stream

After mentioning “you think you know me”, Edge joined the crowded room of personalities for the Mattel Presentation.

We get an Ultimate figure of Edge’s return to the ring at the Royal Rumble. This is a much needed figure for fans of WWE. What an awesome surprise. There’s a massive amount of detail in this figure down to the trenchcoat.

WWE Legends Line Makes A Much-Needed Return

Legends Series 8 is filled to the top with great figures. It’s exclusive to preorder from Target.

Ted DiBiase and Nikolai Volkov are next up. DiBiase is the chase figure for the series.

DDP and Brutus Beefcake are next up with Beefcake in the blue leopard tights is the chase figure. The silver tag team title is a first for the line. This is from Brutus’s run in the Dream Team.

Mr. T Highlights More Figures

First-time in the line Mr. T figure. It sold out through Entertainment Earth, this one is a true treat. You have a chance at Mattel Creations right now to get it.

You can recreate the boxing match between Roddy Piper and Mr. T from Wrestlemania 2 with these two figures!

The final Mr. T figure is joining the Masters of the WWE Universe figures!

Masters of the Universe Continues

Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan highlight this playset with Rattlesnake Ring. It’s 80’s cheese at it’s best.

Wrestlemania Is The Finale For The Show

Chyna, Shawn Michaels, Edge, and Goldberg are the first in this line. The blue Universal Title sees it’s debut in the line.

Paul Ellering is the Build-A-Figure for the Wrestlemania line! It’s the first Rocco figure in the Mattel line as well.

The Mania ring cart makes it’s Mattel debut with either a Randy Savage figure or an Andre the Giant.

Conclusion To The Mattel/WWE Panel

We had a last question to the panel with legendary matches, and the various figures we had debuted. The Superstars on the panel were asked who they would have a Wrestlemania dream match with. Edge suggested Rhea Ripley vs. Beth Phoenix, but he later said that he would face Bret Hart in his prime. Ripley said Beth Phoenix. Gargano and LeRae said Phoenix and Edge. Later they said Shawn Michaels at the same time as a dream opponent. Ricochet went with lots of legends like Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Edge, Randy Orton, or The Rock.

Overall this was a great panel that showed off just what’s in store for fans of the Mattel/WWE product coming out later this year and in 2021.
