An Up-Close Look
Looking at the pictures I’m hoping this is just a prototype. We already know that Sam, the Omega Ranger, has the same exact buckle as Shadow and SPD Red Rangers. So why does this look so flat? I’m glad that his Omega Morpher does have a movable throttle. But it like the buckle is missing detailed paint. The Ranger Nation already knows we aren’t getting ANY weapons with this figure or an alternate head. Does the extra $10 for the vehicle let them off the hook and the paint they are saving?
Spreading Your Ranger Wings
The announcement of this figure gives this writer some hope for how things at Hasbro are looking up.
Cheers to Hasbro, finally now that we have a fully finished set of Mighty Morphin Lightning Figures, with both Rita and Zed 2 pack and Alpha 5 Zordon 2 pack on the way. Hasbro can finally start getting out and seeing what figures the fans want! I for one have been very happy with the series, so far. Yeah, we have had a few hiccups, a few odd head sculpts, lack of detail painting, and obvious weapons (we’re looking at you Zeo Blue and Psycho Pink) maybe this will be a turning point.
If enough of us order this and show how much we love this franchise maybe we can get more high quality like Hasbro’s other lines. Compared to Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends, and now G.I. Joe’s Classified it feels like the we’re getting the short end of the production stick. Some of the aforementioned lines get multiple paints, weapons, textures, etc. Power Rangers suits have four, maybe five colors at best. We just want to morph into a fair seat at the toy table.
