Well here we go again more The Mandalorian season 2 rumors. Now this one is very interesting if you have been following all stories hitting the internet, and if you are a fan of the Aftermath novels then you will see where all this is heading. According to an exclusive report from slashfilm.com Timothy Olyphant will be wearing Boba Fett’s Mandalorian armor. Here is what slashfilm.com had to say:

Timothy Olyphant to wear Fett’s armor

“Our sources have confirmed to us that Olyphant filmed scenes wearing Boba Fett’s Mandalorian armor for the upcoming second season of The Mandalorian.”

So, now some might say wait a minute I thought it was reported that Temuera Morrison was playing Boba Fett? For now that still seems to be correct. So why is Timothy Olyphant wearing Fett’s armor? Well it is very possible that Olyphant could be playing a character named Cobb Vanth from the Aftermath Novel series.

Timothy Olyphant Boba Fett

Cobb Vanth

As of now there is very little known about Cobb Vanth’s backstory, other then he at one time was a slave. What we do know is that Vanth made himself sheriff of town called Freetown on Tatooine., and wears some Mandalorian armor that he acquired from some Jawas. He would also aquire some help from Malakili, who was still morning the death of his Rancor killed by Luke Skywalker.

We want to hear from you.

So, again I would like to say that this is all rumors until we get the official word from Disney. But if Timothy Olyphant is playing Cobb Vanth it will definitely will make a great story in The Mandalorian season 2.

What do you think of Olyphant playing Cobb Vanth? Do you think we will see Boba Fett trying to get his armor back if it is his that Vanth is wearing? Well That Hashtag Show wants to hear from you.
