Well as if the rumors about Boba Fett making an appearance on season 2 of The Mandalorian were not exciting enough for you, we have more to share coming from slashfilm.com. According to their exclusive report Katee Sackhoff will be playing the role of Bo-Katan. Here is the statement from Slash Film:
Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan
Battlestar Galactica star and Star Wars veteran Katee Sackhoff is joining The Mandalorian season 2. We have exclusively learned that Sackhoff will be playing a live-action version of Bo-Katan Kryze, a Mandalorian warrior she previously voiced in Dave Filoni’s animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and later Star Wars Rebels.
Although both Lucasfilm and Sackhoff’s reps declined to comment, we have confirmed this story with multiple sources. She filmed her role back in February before Hollywood production shut down due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
Bo-Katan Kryze
Bo-Katan Kryze, who is Mandalorian was the leader of the Nite Owls and was also a Part of Death Watch. She first made an appearance in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. She was next in command behind Pre Vizsla. That was until Maul killed Vizsla and took control of Mandalore. She also playeded a huge part recruiting Ahsoka and the Jedi to help try to take Mandalore back from Maul. Also if you watched Star Wars: Rebels you may remember that Sabine Wren passed the Darksaber to Bo-Katan in thoughts she would be the one to bring the clans together.
We want to hear from you
Again please remember none of this has been announced by Disney so you need to take it all as a rumor. But with some of the rumors out there it would not be surprising if it was true. Especially when we saw Moff Gideon in possession of the Darksaber in The Mandalorian Season 1.
