While you might be stuck at home right now, there is lots of content to check out. There’s good news. The cast of Critical Role is debuting a new show tonight.
The name of their new show is titled Narrative Telephone, and it’s quite an interesting show. The re-broadcasting schedule for this week was released. The new schedule includes, “Narrative Telephone”.
And the newest Critical Role show’s official description reads as followed:
Our team has been hard at work to bring you something new, developed and filmed remotely from home! Introducing Narrative Telephone! We’ll start with our narrative-spinning Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer as he tells a quick story set in Wildemount. That video will go to another cast member who will watch it JUST ONCE and then send their own recorded retelling of the tale off to another cast member. Once they’ve all done so, we’ll compare the original story with the final story and see how weird things will get…
I love the fact that it’s essentially Matt giving the cast a super quick story set within this campaign’s world. Everyone has to give their own retelling of it by watching Matt’s video just once. It’s a pretty interesting concept.
This will air first on Tuesdays at 4 PM PST/7 PM EST on Twitch.tv/criticalrole. Following that, it’s uploaded on YouTube.com/CriticalRole on Thursdays.
If you missed the first episode it is now live on Critical Role’s YouTube Channel. You can check it out below:
