That’s right. Wrestlemania is going Hollywood again. After it makes a voyage to the long distant land of Tampa, in 2021, we’ll have Wrestlemania in California. The new Rams/Chargers SoFi Stadium will be the host. It’s a shame that the stadium couldn’t be built in time for this year’s event. WWE has had a reputation of being the first events in newly built mega-stadiums. If you remember back to Mania 31, they opened Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. This is big news because Los Angeles is one of the biggest markets in the world. The entertainment industry around the world is based there. So you’ll most likely see WWE pull out all the stops for a huge event fitting of the huge city.
Wrestlemania Details
March 27th, 2021 is the date of Wrestlemania 37. The event draws hundreds of thousands of wrestling fans each year. You can bet for Los Angeles that other companies like AEW, Ring of Honor, Impact, and NJPW will want a slice of that wrestling goodness. The one thing is that WWE is beating the NFL to the punch at SoFi Stadium. They’re also beating them this year by hosting Wrestlemania at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Wrestlemania is a weeklong extravaganza. Thursday will be the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Friday will be Smackdown at the Staples Center. Saturday will be NXT Takeover also at the Staples Center. Sunday is the big event at SoFi Stadium. With Monday Night Raw closing out the whole shebang at Staples Center.
