Kenobi Fan Film arrives Christmas Eve
This is not Costa’s first Star Wars fan film. In 2016 Costa released Han Solo: A Smuggler’s Trade – A Star Wars Fan Film. Costa played Han Solo in a way that heavily nodded to that of a young Harrison Ford.
Joining Costa are Tommy Snider as Owen Lars, Maxine Phoenix as Beru Lars, Audie Rick as Luke Skywalker and James Arnold Taylor as Imperial Captain Leegus.
James Arnold Taylor has played Obi-Want Kenobi within the Star Wars franchise for more than a decade. He appears in canon animation such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars and numerous video games. Kenobi marks JAT’s first on screen Star Wars debut performance.
Tommy Snider can currently be seen in DC’s DOOM PATROL as the super villain “The Beard Hunter.” He’s also on the Nickelodeon show Top Elf as “Santa.” He is also recurring alongside Louie Anderson and Zach Galifianakis on FX’s Baskets and just wrapped season two of Shrill for Hulu.
