Dungeons And Dragons has been on a roll this year. Wizards Of The Coast released their Dungeon Mayhem card game last November, and it so much fun to play. I got to play it against my siblings last Christmas, and we had a fun time playing it. The first expansion named Battle For Baldur’s Gate released back in September, and gave players 2 new characters to play with: either Ranger Minsc and his space hamster Boo or shapeshifting druid Jaheira.
They released their new books, Eberron: Rising From The Last War and Baldur’s Gate: Descent Into Avernus. They also re-released the Tyranny Of Dragons adventures. And they recently released their Dungeons And Dragons VS Rick And Morty RPG game. And they have a new expansion pack for their Dungeon Mayhem gaming releasing on Valentine’s Day.
The New Expansion
And the next expansion for the game is called Monster Madness. This is going to be a fun expansion because you will get to play as 1 of 6 different monsters. From a Mimic to a Red Dragon to even a Beholder, you will have options for what character you can play.
The official game description reads:
We’re getting ready to throw down once again, this time with the third iteration of Dungeon Mayhem, the easy-to-learn, family-friendly, D&D card game that pits the wits and brawn of a party of adventurers against each other.
In Dungeon Mayhem: Monster Madness, you play as one of six epic D&D monsters, each with their own way to charm, crush, disintegrate, and devour their foes. Pit these cunning creatures against any other Dungeon Mayhem deck, and store all your cards in this monster-sized box. Then select your favorite and prepare for mayhem. Plus, you can also enjoy bringing more adventurers into the fold with the addition of rules to include up to 6 players!
The game releases on February 14th, 2020. There is no word yet on when pre-orders will be released, but you can check out the characters and some of the cards below.
