With Jushin Thunder Liger’s retirement right around the corner, Storm Collectibles has released an action figure in his honor.
A living legend and role model to many of today’s wrestlers. He made his first appearance in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as Liger in 1989, at the first ever wrestling event inside the Tokyo Dome. Displaying strength usually seen in heavyweight contenders, Liger holds the record for most IWGP Jr. Heavyweight titles won at 11. His iconic outfit and techniques have inspired many around the world, and impacted the way pro-wrestling has evolved to this day. In 2019, after a 30 year legacy, Liger announced his retirement in the same arena that he debuted in- the Tokyo Dome- in January 2020.

In March of this year, Liger announced his retirement tour. During this time, he has wrestled all over the world. This year, Liger brought the Super J Cup to the United States. A tournament that has been around since 1994, and Liger has competed in himself a total of five times. Winning the tournament in back to back years. His retirement will take place over two nights at the beginning of 2020. Where NJPW will have their annual WrestleKingdom event for the first time span two nights.
