Oh yeah, Also there’s this Overwatch game coming to Nintendo Switch October 15th. You might have heard of it- it’s a got a small (some-odd millions) following. Overwatch Legendary Edition with gyro-controls!!! And if you havn’t gotten it fixed yet, extra drifting!
Kyle Katarn is back for a little known franchise called Star Wars, in 2002 they released Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. The game drops September 24th and I will be playing it and imagining this was The Force Awakens. Other games in the Nintendo brief:
- Tetris 99 gets an Invictus Mode for the best of the best of the best. Not me, but damnit I wish I was.
- If you are still playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, then get ready to add Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury and Banjo & Kazooie. Yay!
- Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is leaping from the Wii to the Switch, but not till 2020.
- Pokémon Sword / Pokémon Shield will offer you the chance to eat Curry with your fav Pokemon. You read that right.
- DOOM 64 is coming in Nov to fulfill all your shoot-em up nostalgia needs.
- As previously announced, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition arrives Oct. 15.
- Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection including Black Flag and Rogue. I’m not sure two games count as a collection, but Black Flag alone makes a good way to spend your holidays. This drops December 6.
My kid is super psyched for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. We still play the first one on our Nintendo Wii from time to time. So maybe on Nov 5th I can finally pack that up.
The Outer Worlds was said to be coming soon, not sure if that means with will be available when it drops on PS4 and Xbox on October 25th, but knowing it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch, I can be patient and wait.
