D23 is in our rear-view mirror. Many properties were announced including a few Disney Parks attractions. One thing in particular that still needs an opening date: The Star Wars Hotel.
This has sparked my interest ever since Disney had announced it. Granted, we still don’t have a ton of info about it. We got a little bit of info back in November at D23’s Destination D event. Disney had revealed some details about the hotel:
“This groundbreaking experience is unlike any resort experience you’ve ever seen. From the moment you board your launch pod, it’s a fully-immersive, multi-day Star Wars adventure aboard a luxury starship complete with high-end dining, space-view cabins and all of the exciting action you would expect from an authentic Star Wars experience.”
We have seen a lot of concept art for this hotel. So, you already know that it will look amazing. But pricing information has been revealed. And, it’s going to be a little expensive.
Full Pricing Details
So this is being priced a little differently than most of the Disney World resorts. All of the Disney World Resorts, like Disney’s Pop Century, Art Of Animation, and even Old Key West, let guests say there overnight before they check into their actual hotel.
Unfortunately, it’s not going to be the case with this hotel. Guests will not be able to overnight it at this hotel. They will have to stay for the full 2 Night/3 Day experience.
So, for a family of four staying at the hotel, it will cost a hefty $3,300 for the 2 Night/3 Day stay. That ends up coming out to $1,100 per person, per day. If you plan on staying in a cabin for five, it will end up costing $7,200. That comes out to $1,400 per person, equaling to about $480 per person, per day.
What’s Included
Since this pricing module is different from the other hotels, what will be included is going to be different. What will be included is likely to be food, entertainment, and select beverages. This pricing module looks almost like the one used on the Disney Cruise Line.
We’re working with limited information about the Star Wars Hotel as Disney didn’t mention much about it at D23. But check back to That Hashtag Show for more information when it becomes available.
