Disney at the D23 Expo has finally revealed details about its new STAR WARS hotel / fan experience project at Walt Disney World Resort. The STAR WARS: Galactic Starcruiser will be “a new, first-of-its-kind where guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship.” Guests will also be able to interact with different characters and become part of their own STAR WARS story.
D23 Expo Imagining Tomorrow, Today
If you are lucky enough to be attending the D23 Expo, you will be able to check out more details about this new experience. There in the “Imagining Tomorrow, Today” pavilion you can see a scale model of the hotel called the “Halcyon” and how the ship size compares to the Millennium Falcon. Also, in the pavilion fans will be treated to renders of the rooms and entertainment areas.
As of now there is no official word on when STAR WARS: Galactic Starcruiser will open or when they will start taking reservations for this STAR WARS experience. But when it does open it will give STAR WARS fans even more to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort.
