With the tag line “a killer game of hide and seek” you know Ready or Not is movie with a twist. The movie follows a young bride (Samara Weaving) as she joins her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turns into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival. If you haven’t seen the trailer you need to check to check it out.
If you had previously seen the Ready or Not trailer then you are already looking forward to this horror/thriller film from directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. Get ready for ‘Ready or Not’
Ready or Not includes a powerhouse cast. Samara Weaving, an Australian actress and model, is a rising star in Hollywood. She recently starred in the Netflix film The Babysitter (2017). In addition, she was recently cast in the currently filming Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020). Mark O’Brien, who plays her fiancé in the film, is a Canadian actor best known for playing Tom Rendon in Halt and Catch Fire. Rounding out the cast is American actress and fashion model Andie MacDowell. MacDowell has starred in several notable films, including Golden Globe Award-nominated performances in Green Card (1990) and Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994). However, she has been a staple in films from 1984 straight through to the present. Her films have included St. Elmo’s Fire (1985), Groundhog Day (1993, Michael (1996), Multiplicity (1996), Footloose (2011), and Magic Mike XXL (2015).
