Writer. Director. Actor. Oscar winner. Those words can all be used to describe Brie Larson (Captain Marvel). The soon-to-be thirty-year old Hollywood star has already amassed an impressive career. Notwithstanding, there is one title that has eluded her thus far… Brie Larson: Jedi Knight.

After having won an Academy Award for Best Actress (for 2015’s Room), Brie Larson has gone on to star in a couple of blockbusters in Kong: Skull Island and this year’s Captain Marvel. Likewise, she earned her first, first-chair directorial credit with Unicorn Store, a Netflix film that premiered back in April. She’s never been shy about her love for Star Wars, however. To her dismay, she’s not (yet) starred in a Star Wars feature. Although… she did give us a glimpse of what Brie Larson: Jedi Knight might look like if she gets the chance.

Brie Larson: Jedi Knight?

Larson took to Instagram to share a photo from her recent visit to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland in Anaheim. Captioning the photo “[t]he category is: JEDI REALNESS”, the actress presented us with Brie Larson: Jedi Knight:

The “official” Disney photo comes complete with what appears to be a Death Star detention block background. We can’t confirm, but it’s certainly likely the Jedi weapon she’s wielding came from the lightsaber building facility at Galaxy’s Edge. All in all she seems to have mastered the Brie Larson: Jedi Knight look… but she is not a Jedi yet.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker opens in December. If we ever get the chance to see Brie Larson: Jedi Knight, we’re going to have to wait. Disney has already announced that there will be a three-year hiatus in between feature Star Wars films. The next, from Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, won’t premier until December, 2022.
