Star Wars original cast member, Mark Hamill reveals Luke Skywalker’s role in the upcoming, ‘Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker.’

From the words of the man himself. Mark Hamill has been a childhood icon for me, as Luke Skywalker, and then as the Joker. He was a symbol of hope when I was a young boy and I hope he’ll reprise his role as that hopeful Jedi Master in Episode 9, ghost or no ghost. Glad to see him return, and I hope he’ll be awesome! I hope to see Kylo interact with Anakin Skywalker and find more about Darth Vader…and of course…Palpatine.

Well, because… I had closure in the last one. The fact that I’m involved in any capacity is only because of that peculiar aspect of the Star Wars mythology where if you’re a Jedi, you get to come back and make a curtain call as a Force ghost.
