“The Abandoned Sacred Beasts”, a dark fantasy manga following a post – war country, has just received a new preview. It’s an adaptation of the popular manga from the company Maybe, which is set to Premier in July.
In the mist of a protracted civil war that pitted the North against the South, the outnumbered Northerners used dark magic to create monstrous super-soldiers called Incarnates. Now that the war has ended, those Sacred Beasts must learn to make their way in a peaceful society, or face death at the hands of a Beast Hunter. The main story will follow Nancy Schaal Bancroft, the daughter of an Incarnate, as we get to watch as the world of Incarnates get flip upside down.
Abandoned Sacred Beasts Preview
The opening sequence will be “Sacrifice”, played by Mafumafu. To the contrary, Gero×ARAKI will perform the ending. The anime adaptation will debut July 1, 2019. Animation studio MAPPA will produce the feature.
Storyboard artist and episode director Jun Shishido will be using this project as a directorial debut,. The Abandoned Sacred Beasts will also utilize scripts from Shigeru Murakoshi. Daisuke Niinuma handles character designs. The show will also feature talented voice actors such as Ai Kakuma as Nancy Schaal Bancroft and Kaito Ishikawa as Claude.
