The third season of Jessica Jones will be the last of Netflix’s series based in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The streaming service also gave us Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher. Unfortunately, with the launch of Disney+ coming in 2019 Netflix and Disney obviously decided to part ways and that lead to the cancellation of all their MCU series.

While not all the Marvel shows on Netflix were well received by critics or fans, Jessica Jones was definitely one of the bright spots of the bunch. So, this had left many wondering when the final season and the last of all the series would air.  Now the wait is over. A teaser trailer which revealed the official release date for the third and final season and it will be June 14.

The teaser also hinted at the focus of Season 3. A man’s voice, possibly the season’s villain, is talking obsessively about Jessica as the camera approaches the door of her office/apartment. The voice says, “No longer,” and a series of quick clips show a man basking the red light of a photo lab. Someone then knocks on the Alias Private Investigations door. However, the person is already in the apartment and turns the corner before Krysten Ritter can get there.

In addition to the teaser, the show’s social media accounts changed their profile and header images to show accusations of the title character being a “fraud.” These changes occurred on the Jessica Jones series’ Facebook and Twitter accounts. The header picture features a long message that slams the super-powered PI for numerous faults. Both images can be seen below.

Jones has made no shortage of enemies in the first two seasons.  She also estranged herself from her best friend Trish Walker at the end of season 2. These images indicate someone has developed a grudge against Jessica. However, we will have to wait until the premiere to find out who.

Binge watching of Netflix’s Jessica Jones Season 3 can commence on June 14.
